Grandmaster John Null

 Grandmaster Null started his Martial Arts Training in 1970 after returning home from a tour with the United States Marine Corps in South East Asia ( Viet Nam ).  Master Terrance Swartz introduced Master Null to Chung Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Young Chi Bai. After several years Young Chi Bai moved and Master Null searched for another Tae Kwon Do instructor ( Master Lion Kil Choi )  and successfully helped introduce Master Choi to the Harrisburg area where Master Choi started Kil Choi Karate (Jung Sim Won ) located at 1203 Market Street Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.  Grandmaster Null has nourished his desire and passion for Tae Kwon Do and went on to become the founder and President of the Pennsylvania Referees Association, he invites all Black Belts to meetings to discuss rules and enact safety to the present tournament sector.  Grandmaster Null is the Chief Kickboxing Referee for IKC ( International Kickboxing Council, founder Grandmaster Keith Nesbitt ) located in Rochester New York.   Master Null is also the Chief Referee for the Keystone International Kickboxing Association, founder and President Grandmaster Tom Joerge and also the chief referee for Master Gary Grants kickboxing organization located in Plymouth, Pennsylvania.  Master Null has refereed hundreds of Amateur and professional Kickboxing bouts, as well as hosting and running Martial Arts (Karate) point fighting Tournaments in the North East Region of Pennsylvania.    

 

 

 

 

Master Terrance Swartz 

Master Terrance Swartz started his Martial Arts training in Chung Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do in 1969 under 3rd Dan Black Belt, Young Chi Bai in Harrisburg, PA.

            He opened his own Martial Arts School (Dojang)  in 1973 until enlisting and having served 4 years in the US Navy; serving in various conflicts while on active duty and serving another 4 yrs in the Navy Reserves. During his military career, Master Swartz continued his training in the Martial Arts with other servicemen and finally under the instruction of Master Lee in Norfolk, VA in 1976. After returning to Harrisburg, began once again training under original instructor Young chi Bai.

Master Swartz has also served in several Correctional facilities and received various recognitions for merit in the Camp Hill Prison riots of 1989 as well as being promoted to the highest level of Corrections Manager in the Commonwealth of PA and finally retiring from the Prison System as Asst. Director/Operations Mgr. at the Dept. of Corrections Bureau. After retiring from Dept of Correction’s, had begun his own security consulting firm and is now the President/CEO of String Industries Corp. in Camp Hill, PA.

Furthermore, during his training in the Martial Arts, Master Swartz has competed and won in numerous Int’l. Tournaments for full-contact sparring and has achieved many other successes in his lifetime. One of which is continuing to teach the advanced students Chung Moo Kwan TKD at Harrisburg Martial Arts Academy on Friday evenings and is working in conjunction with our school to teach new Level 1 self-defense classes to local colleges majoring in Criminal Justice.
